anyone who knows me knows that I am not a big fan of the zoo. I'm not sure why, but I've never been one to want to visit the zoo, even as a child. this weekend, though, we took the little guy out to see the zoo lights.
he did great (and so did we). it was fun, and it was as good for us as it was for the little guy. we're not always great about doing these kinds of outings, mostly because we (I ??) feel like it's so hard to manage. I need to overcome this fear or irrationality; this is life, people do this every day.
